Experienced Casino Dealers

Department: Administration


The Camrose Resort Casino – located just 45 southeast of Edmonton, is seeking experienced Casino Games Dealers. This position interfaces directly with patrons on the gaming floor, and duties include the conduct of games in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions. Experience in dealing Blackjack, variations of poker and Roulette would be an asset.

Duties: • Meet requirements for registration with AGLC. • Conduct – game must be conducted in accordance with CTCOG and House Rules. • Maintain a valid AGLC License. • Be polite and courteous to all players. • Create professional, personal, and enjoyable entertainment atmosphere. • Welcome guest to the table • Refer disputes to Pit Boss • Protect the security of chips and cash. • Ensure the integrity of the games. • Be familiar and compliant with AGLC Terms and Conditions and any amendments. • Be familiar with Casino Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with the guidelines. • Perform other duties as required by the Pit staff or Casino Management. • Observe problematic gaming behavior of guest and consult the Pit Supervisor of situations

Position Requirements • Meet requirements to be registered with AGLC and maintain valid AGLC License • Criminal Record clearance is a requirement • Grade 10, or equivalent industry experience • Previous applicable work experience

Part time Server

Department: Restaurants
Closing Date: January 15, 2020

The Hotel Camrose Resort Casino is currently accepting applications for a part-time server. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the Joker’s Den Lounge, Eats Restaurant and as an opener for the hotel breakfast buffet.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Take customer orders for beverages and food
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, refill beverages as needed
  • Remove dirty glasses, linens and dishes from lounge area
  • Respond to customer requests and complaints
  • Clean service area during and after events
  • Understand and follow the laws and guidelines for beverage service (ProServe required)

Variety of day and evening shifts. Must be able to work weekends. This position requires substantial walking.  Some lifting.
