Experienced Casino Dealers

Department: Administration

Description

The Camrose Resort Casino – located just 45 southeast of Edmonton, is seeking experienced Casino Games Dealers. This position interfaces directly with patrons on the gaming floor, and duties include the conduct of games in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions. Experience in dealing Blackjack, variations of poker and Roulette would be an asset.

Core Responsibilities: • Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Written • Commitment to teamwork, lead by example, mentor coworkers • Customer Service – You are an ambassador of the Resort! • Work Ethics – Punctuality, Flexibility, Professional appearance – in accordance to Resort policies and procedures • Positive Attitude – Be polite and courteous to all guests • Appreciation for a diverse, multi-cultural environment • Create professional, personal, and enjoyable entertainment experience

Duties: • Meet requirements for registration with AGLC. • Conduct – game must be conducted in accordance with CTCOG and House Rules. • Maintain a valid AGLC License. • Be polite and courteous to all players. • Create professional, personal, and enjoyable entertainment atmosphere. • Welcome guest to the table • Refer disputes to Pit Boss • Protect the security of chips and cash. • Ensure the integrity of the games. • Be familiar and compliant with AGLC Terms and Conditions and any amendments. • Be familiar with Casino Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with the guidelines. • Perform other duties as required by the Pit staff or Casino Management. • Observe problematic gaming behavior of guest and consult the Pit Supervisor of situations

Position Requirements • Meet requirements to be registered with AGLC and maintain valid AGLC License • Criminal Record clearance is a requirement • Grade 10, or equivalent industry experience • Previous applicable work experience

Casino Manager

Department: Administration

 

– Meet all AGLC requirements for Casino Manager as stated in AGLC Terms and Conditions

– Be familiar and compliant with AGLC Terms and Conditions

– Overall management of the Casino

– Supervision of all Supervisors and Managers within the Casino

– Ensure all required procedures for reporting are followed

– Meet requirements to be registered with AGLC and maintain valid AGLC License

– Criminal Record clearance is a requirement

– Post Secondary, or equivalent industry experience

– Minimum of two years of table games supervision

Breakfast Server/Attendant

Department: Restaurants
The Hotel Camrose Resort and Casino is currently interviewing for a Breakfast Attendant/Server.
 
If you’re an early riser, this position will suit you perfectly.
 
With four or five shifts per week, the successful candidate must be available weekends and holidays. The ability to work independently and follow safe food handling guidelines is vital.
 
You will be responsible for greeting hotel guests for breakfast, bussing tables, and general cleaning.
 
In addition to your hourly wage, guests often reward good service with gratuities! Benefits available after six months.
